About R & B Filipino Cuisine
Located at 11257 Camino Ruiz, San Diego, CA 92126, R & B Filipino Cuisine operates as a filipino restaurant serving San Diego in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In San Diego, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 amβ5:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (858) 695-8455. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 250 reviews, which is a strong result for a filipino restaurant in San Diego and suggests consistent service.
San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Hands down the best sisig in town! The Lolas are the sweetest and stuff your box with lots of food. You will not leave here hungry! Everything from their breakfast silog to the soups to sisig, all delicious!

Yummy food at decent prices. Their sisig is flavorful, I love that they make it more on the citrusy side. The place is clean and there are some tables if people want to eat there. Simple and non pretentious. Also, Iβm glad that thereβs plenty of parking. Just a suggestion, maybe adding Pinoy spaghetti to the rotation one of these days? :)

I grew up with a melting pot of friends & Filipino cuisine was among various food types I grew up eating a lot. Pancit & lumpia are my favorite food by far & I havenβt had in years but on my way to the dr I saw R&B Filipino cuisine and had to stopβ¦ Let me tell you when I took a bite of lumpia l, it sent shivers down my spine, the hair stood up on my arms and neck, and I swear I was glowing! Not from radiation lol, but that bite took me back to when I was seven years old, skateboarding to my friends house, knocking on the door asking if Julius can play, getting invited in to have lunch, & first discovering this Godsend of a food lumpia and itβs heavenly companion Pancit! 100% authentic and guaranteed to give you flashbacks! 10/10 you have to go here! Itβs not even a recommendation, Itβs your duty!

Lots of parking. Great food and lots of selection. You lineup, pick your combo, and kindly ask the friendly Titaβs which entree you want. My favorite was the sisig which is the fried pork belly, chopped, and tossed either onions, spices, and chilies. Also got the kare-kare which is the peanut butter stew. Lots of food for the money. Will come back again!

A FOODIEβS FINDπ€©π€©. Itβs all about tempered flavor of AUTHENTIC FILIPINO cooking without any hint of adulteration. None of that βfusionβ stuff. FLAVORFUL street-food style service.ππ The eatery is very unassuming, tucked in strip mall. Itβs a small, likely family-owned business that seems to be very popular to ethnic Philippine emigres and Filipino-Americans as well other locals. Itβs a serving counter of freshly cooked food.πππThe menu is on the board, but prices on the board are catering sizes. It very inexpensive: pricing is based on the size of the container (S, M, L, XL) that food is packed in. Itβs street food style service. No frills. My most flavorful recommendations: 1. Fried fish: Fresh crispy fried without any greasiness. Simple salt/pepper seasoning ππ 2. Pinakbet: Classic Filipino dish of mixed tropical vegetables. The surprise was variety of Acorn squash has exquisite nutty flavor π€©π€© 3. Kare kare: Classic stewed beef in peanut sauce. What was a pleasant surprise was the meat: it was a mixture of tripe, little bit of muscle and what I think was sweetbreads (thymus/spleen). It was superb. π€©π€©π€©Feast with you palate! 4. Stewed taro leaf: another surprise π The lowly you
